Mets took the plunge and brought in Neil Walker and Asdrubel Cabrera for the middle infield, and still Herrera, Flores and Tejada there. Tulo would be an upgrade, but he is never fully healthy, and that is going to be worse on the turf in Toronto.

I'm not sure why people still think Rafael Montero is a hot commodity. He's not. He's a 25-year-old who the Mets continually refuse to give adequate chances to.

If the Mets don't see value in Montero to get him in the game, why should other teams? He'll be nothing more than a bullpen piece.

As for Wheeler, the Reds turned down a trade that was basically Wheeler for Jay Bruce. If the Reds turn that down, the Blue Jays will certainly shoot down anything similar for Tulowitzki, who is significantly better than Jay Bruce. Wheeler is good, but since his injury and surgery, his value is very low.

This is a monstrous over-valuing of the Mets players as has been seen on here numerous times (not nearly as much as Tigers, Blue Jays, and Angels fans, but close) . For a guy like Tulo, who is one of the best shortstops in the game right now, it'll take a pretty massive haul. This is FAR from massive.
