Rest of Yankees Offseason

Trade

Angels get Brett Gardner, Michael Pineda, Ivan Nova, Gary Sanchez, Rob Refsnyder, James Kaprielian, Ian Clarkin, Luis Cessa, and Slade Heathcott

Yankees get Garrett Richards

The Angels fill their LF/ Lefty Hitting/ Leadoff whole with a reasonable contract and fill their wholes at C and 2B with young studs as both are ranked by MLB as top 10 prospects at their positions. They also get Pineda and Nova for rotation pieces now and Kaprielian for the future. They can spare Richards with the additions of Pineda and Nova as well as already having Heaney, Santiago, Wilson, Weaver, Shoemaker, Skaggs, and Tropeano

The Yankees shed Gardner's salary and get the young controllable ace they desire without giving up anybody in their plans for the near future. Sanchez is blocked by McCann. Refsnyder is blocked by Castro and Richards is an upgrade over Pineda and Nova.

I know none of this will happen but do the moves make sense and are they fair in value?

What do you guys think?

I think this is terrible and you have posted this garbage before or something very similar. The trade is so awful and shows you have no idea what you are doing. 9 players for one, you'd think they were getting Mike Trout, not that package would be good enough for Trout. But Garrett Richards, come on. Nathan and Holland are completely unnecessary, Holland is out for the year and for Nathan the pen is full. Uribe has not spot and the only reasonable signing is Morneau.

This is a one-sided trade.

Angels really need to keep Richards.

9 for 1 trades aren't going to happen, especially when 7 of them are 40-man roster guys, so the Angels would have to DFA a crap load of dudes.

Although, in a vacuum, the Angels would be exceptionally moronic not to take that deal for Richards.

didn't Nathan retire.
