NYM get: Mike Trout, Collin Cowgill, and Hunter Green

LAA gets: Zack Wheeler, Brandon Nimmo, Gavin Cecchini, Marcos Molina, Juan Lagares, Gabriel Ynoa, Jhoan Urena, Jayce Boyd, and Ali Sanchez

LAA gets a good starter in Wheeler, a good defensive outfielder in Lagares who can play while Nimmo develops, and the #2,4,6,8,11,15 and 27 prospects in the Mets' farm system.

NYM gets a superstar in Trout who is the definition of a 5-tool player, Collin Cowgil l who can be a replacement for Lagares, and #22 prospect in LAA's farm system who could someday maybe be in the NYM pitching staff.

So the package for Trout includes an injured pitcher, a defense first CF, and a bunch of mid-level prospects?

Syndergaard, Harvey, or deGrom would almost certainly be headlining a package for Trout. Likely to include Conforto as well. Plus that group of prospects.

Also, Cowgill isn't in the Angels organization any more.

So you have a trade with the Mets huh? and not one of their great pitchers is in it. Not good. We don't know how Wheeler will do coming off TJ surgery, so calling him a good starter at this point is no correct. Oh and just because the Angels number 22 prospect is in the trade doesn't mean he will even ever make it to the Majors. the Angels currently have a terrible farm system. So their number 22 prospect could rank several hundred players down in the overall prospect rankings.

This is definitely not a good trade. I think I may have a better proposal:

Mets get: Mike Trout
Angels get: Jacob deGrom, Amed Rosario, Michael Conforto, Dominic Smith, Juan Lagares, Travis d'Arnaud and Marcos Molina.
