CHC gets: Jefery Marte 3rd/ 1st, Mike Morrin RP

LAA gets: George Solar OF, Jacob Hahnemann OF

Cubs get the backup 1st baseman that they needed and get bullpen help as well.

Angles get Solar who should become their everyday LF next season and Hahnemann who is the Cubs 19th overall prospect and should help the angles in the coming years.

What do you guys think? I see a well put together offense with a good bench as well as a good rotation and a well rounded and balanced bullpen.

I do see them trading someone like Lackey and Hammels at the deadline for younger starters and Montero for a lesser catcher but to provide salary relief. And they could choose to trade Fowler or not since they have Almora Jr. on the bench and could start him and grab a younger OF for him to put on the bench. This gives the Cubs the money needed to go lock up Arrieta and Stropp during the next offseason.

They don't need a backup forst baseman with Rizzo there. They have guys who can play there every once in awhile.

Seriously Sull, i'm not trying to be rude but come on man, i'm a stickler when it comes to names and its not that hard to take 30 seconds to look up how to spell it correctly. It really bothers me especially "George Solar" like no one in baseball has that name. And the trade makes 0 sense if the cubs wanted a backup 1B they wouldve kept Vogelbach, and angels won't deal prospects for a sh*tty OF.
