Diamondbacks offseason:

Re-sign:
Hudson

Sign:

The Diamondback need a closer and Malanson is one of the top 3 closers available along with Janson and Chapman but Malanson will not cost as much as the others. Don't get me wrong he will still cost a lot but just not as much as the others.

3. Goldshmit 1st
4. Pollack CF
5. Peralta RF
6. Castillo C
7. Thomas LF
8. Lamb 3rd
9. Pitcher

Bench:
1. Herman C/ 1st/ OF/ DH
2. Gossling UTL
3. Ahmed 2nd/ SS
4. Drury OF/ 3rd
5. Jensen 1st/ OF

Rotation:
1. Greinkie
2. De La Rosa
3. Corbin
4. Ray
5. Miller

Bullpen:
1. Bradley
2. Delgado
3. Bracho
4. Chafin

6. Hudson
7. Malanson

What do you guys think?

Sull, one who is Malanson? 2, are going to be doing this for every team, if so please stop. 3, i see you didn't put either of your man crushes, Daniel Nava and Logan Morrison, in this.

1. You know who he is 2. No I just like doing it for teams that are close to contending 3. And shut up they aren't man crushes they are just players that I feel fit the need of a couple of the teams.

Whoop-tee-doo. You have them adding a closer, whose name is actually Mark Melancon. They need a little more than that, mostly good health for Pollock and Greinke and a return to form for Shelby Miller.

The D-Backs really should be better next year, if they solidify their bullpen, which is one of the easier tasks in MLB.

Wait, if BATMAN! knows who he is with his name spelled wrong, how do you still not know how to spell his name if you know who he is enough to to put him on this post.

5.) 19 Sep 2016

It's not hard to check these names before you post.

6.) 19 Sep 2016

Sull, there is not a player in the MLB named Malanson.

7.) 19 Sep 2016

What's the point of taking so much time to post this and only have a team signing 1 guy? And correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think that the D-Backs aren't contending this year because their closer lost them all the games?

8.) 19 Sep 2016

They don't even have a true closer right now. Ever since they traded Ziegler to the Red Sox and Clippard to the Yankees, they haven't had a true closer.

9.) 19 Sep 2016
19 Sep 2016 22:44:08
But what I was saying is why would the closer matter if their starters can't give them a chance to win? their team isn't good enough to just get a closer and be a contender.

Yeah, LarryLegend33 this is how it usually goes.

11.) 20 Sep 2016
20 Sep 2016 15:49:25
Yeah I know. Been reading a while just haven't commented much just so I don't get rubbish on by theJerk. I know I don't know too much about baseball. Basketball is my MO.

12.) 20 Sep 2016
20 Sep 2016 19:13:38
theJerk isn't right about everything. A couple of weeks ago he said Baltimore would win the AL East, while I choose Boston. Look how that turned out.

13.) 20 Sep 2016
20 Sep 2016 19:49:19
You know last I check there was still roughly 2 weeks left. anything can happen. Is it likely probably not, just saying though.

14.) 20 Sep 2016

I get that but it's starting to seem more and more likely every day they'll win. They're on a 5 game win streak and I don't think they lose the series to Tampa or New York. They got hot at the best time possible.

It's nice to know people hesitate to write nonsense on this board out of fear of my responses.

Many people get positive responses, why? Because they use their brain.

Use your brain, Larry, and you'll be fine.

And RedSoxGuy, if a prediction of a division winner is the worst I do, I'd say I'm getting by alright.

17.) 21 Sep 2016
21 Sep 2016 22:06:39
I'm RedSoxFan, Red Sox Guy is someone else here.

18.) 21 Sep 2016
21 Sep 2016 23:16:11
RedSoxGuy it seems you looking for anything to criticize theJerk, even its a freaking prediction. Predictions can be wrong.

19.) 22 Sep 2016
21 Sep 2016 23:49:42
My apologies to Red Sox Guy, I didn't mean to rope you in with this guy.

20.) 22 Sep 2016
22 Sep 2016 00:05:39
Now that I see its a different person, RedSoxFan, what i said above.

21.) 22 Sep 2016
22 Sep 2016 04:09:49
How do we know he is not the same person.

22.) 22 Sep 2016
22 Sep 2016 04:27:57
I just used that as an example that no one is right about everything. Nobody should not feel comfortable posting because someone will trash them every time.
You actually know a lot about baseball theJerk and you're able to back up statements well even if the whole site disagrees with you.

23.) 22 Sep 2016
22 Sep 2016 13:39:45
If you post stupid nonsense, you should not be afforded safety from critcism.

I willl say, there are several people who have gotten better at posting because they listened to criticism.

24.) 22 Sep 2016
22 Sep 2016 15:59:29
See I just don't know enough about other teams farm systems to know who is good and what not to trade. I barely know my teams farm system past the top 10 guys ranked and the recent 1st round pick. That's why I stay away. I don't know enough to make good posts. But I will comment from time to time.

25.) 22 Sep 2016
22 Sep 2016 17:43:54
1. I don't know how many times we told people that when you post on here you open yourself to criticism. No one is above it.
2. I also don't get why LarryLegend was just afraid of posting because of theJerk and not me either.
3. Who exactly has gotten better with their posts? I haven't really noticed anyone improve.

26.) 22 Sep 2016
22 Sep 2016 21:25:28
Clark, before his disappearance, got better with criticism.

There have been others, mostly people from a while back, who have. We just don't see them because Crazysull, Bwright, and WSG clog the board up.
