That package is no where near enough for arenado.

Wake up the Yankees are not going to get the established stars for big prospects. There rebuilding the team like they did in 1992-94 by holding on to top prospects like the held on to the core 4. The Yankees will only make a play for a elite player if they don't have to give up top prospects or sogn FA piece like Chapman where they don't give up a first round pick. I also don't see them trading Brett Gardner he is a fan favorite, solid everyday player, affordable, and homegrown.

Yep, trade 1 I knew it was you. Trading Gardner and McCann separately will get them a better return than what you suggested. Trade 2, in what world would they need Miguel Cabrera and his albatross of a contract. They learned from A-Rod's contract, they don't need version 2.0. Trade 3 is pointless, Dodgers don't a 3rd baseman. And you obviously never heard of quality over quantity.

Astros wouldn't do first one. Second one is terrible, no one wants Miggys contract. Third one is also not very good, Headley has no value and They probably hope Kazmir bounces back. The fourth one is not too bad but they could definitely get more for Arenado.

Dr. Dowrong, I am well aware of what they are trying to do in building a young core of prospects like they did in the 90's. That's why I have them holding on to Sanchez, Austin, Bird, Judge, Frazier, and Betances. Not to mention Castro, Didi, Tanaka, Pineda, Mitchell, and Warren who are all under the age of 27. And I have them trading away more older players in Gardner and McCann. However, once they built that young core in the 90's, did they not make a few trades for veterans to bolster the team? Guys that they would not have won those championships without like Paul O'Neil, Tino Martinez, David Cone, David, Wells, Roger Clemens, and Scott Brochius. That's what I'm trying to accomplish here. Keeping most of the young nucleus while sprinkling in good veteran talent in other places. Not to mention Arenado is young too.

The Rox could get much more for Arenado, if they wanted to deal him, which they don't.

The Yankees don't need half of these guys. I have found Yankees fan's to be so impatient. Your team just went out and traded away most of your good players and brought back plenty of good prospects that will be ready in a few years, instead you want to turn around and trade them all away before they even impact your MLB team. I know it is better to have proven MLB stars over prospects but I would much rather have all those highly touted prospects than Arinado or anyone else they trade for. Yankee fans just wait you will be back to your winning ways soon, just look at teams like the Padres that took their rebuild and turned it into Kemp, Myers, Upton (both of them) and Kimbral, how did that work out for them?

Wow, Sull making sense for once, never saw that coming. Bwright he described you perfectly, IMPATIENT. No one wants to end up like the Padres did a year ago or the Red Sox before this year, and the Tigers have. Look at what happened when the Phillies traded away their prospects.
