I'm not going to bother with the bullpen or bench because that can always change. But I think this is very possible for them to accomplish. Turner would be a major pick up and would only deepen the roster. Hudley will be a solid bridge for when Taylor Ward is ready for the big leagues. And adding a bullpen piece like Wood is always welcomed. The trade for Hernandez, I feel as though both sides benefit from it. Angels get their man at second. The Phillies have asked about Bandy, and Escobar prefers SS so he could be plugged in there. The big question is can the rotation stay healthy. I feel as though they will stay away from starters now that they got Chavez, there are better options in next years class. Plus they have other internal options like Alex Meyer and JC Ramirez who they are going to try as a starter.

The pitching staff is terrible.

If they sign turner they'll lose another pick. At this point they definitely don't want to do that.

Why would the Phillies want that for Hernandez? Bandy is a catcher that they don't need. Escobar wouldn't play short with Freddy Galvis there.

Metsjets, they have a protected pick this year, 1st pick is safe but the second pick won't be.

I don't get why fans of teams whom more than likely won't compete in 2017 want their team to waste money. Angels are easily the fourth worst team in the West, these additions do not move them into the third, second and surely not the first place in the west. Just suck it up and accept the rebuild/ attempt at one.

Again, the Angels' pitching is terrible.

mambaout, the reason for the Angels fall last season was the major injuries that happened. With the rotation staying healthy an that lineup, that team is competing in October. and red sucks guy, there is no point going into the free agent class this offseason, the pitchers are mediocre at best and cost a ton of money. The following year will have a better class of pitchers and Heaney and Tropeano will back from injury as well. Focus on hitting this offseason where there is actually some good stuff out there.
