Dodgers get: Kinsler, Upton

Tigers get: Bellinger, De Leon, Kike Hernandez

Why Dodgers: they get the second baseman that they need and sign him to a 2 year entenchen. They also add an outfielder that has some pop and is cheaper than going after Cespides.

Why Detroit: they get Bellinger who could step right into Uptons corner outfield spot and put Hernandez in center. They have Machado to take over a second. And then De Leon could either start in the rotation or I think they would start him in the pen as a long reliver or start him in the minors to develop some more

What do you guys think?

How is this bad? I guess you could switch Upton and J. D Martinez but I think Upton is a better fit.

Of course, the older, declining, highly-paid Justin Upton is a better fit than the in his prime, still not paid that much, thriving J. D Martinez.

Please don't tell me it's because L. A. is trying to save money for the 2018 free agent class.
