Cardinals send SP Michael Wacha and Marco Gonzalez to Miami for OF Marcell Ozuna.

This makes a lot of sense for both teams. Ozuna gives the Cards an OF of Piscotty-Ozuna-Grichuk, and St. Louis has the depth rotation to withstand the loss of those two guys.

Miami gets two young pieces for rotation, and can then add to its bullpen if it wishes. Also, the Marlins would probably sign an OF to play left and move Yelich to CF.

A 1-for-1 would be more fair. STL giving up two young pitchers is too great a cost for Ozuna. Wacha for Ozuna straight up would be a good deal.

ozuna won't go to STL unless weaver or someone better goes.

miami could trade ozuna as the main piece in a package for jose quintana if they wanted.

SFG no a 1 for 1 isn't fair, I love wacha but Ozuna is fresh off an all star season it would take wacha plus a couple prospects. Baseballfanatic a 17 win season in 2015 isn't that good? He had 1 bad season and everyone on here acts like he's a bum.

The Cards aren't going to give Wacha away. About 29 other teams would love to have him.

most guys in STL think wacha is nothing more than a bullpen guy going forward. he has one maybe two quality pitches and his velocity drops each year. trust me no one is taking him straight up for ozuna.
