Dodgers-Brewers trade

Dodgers get: Braun, Gennett, low level prospect (s)

Brewers get: Bellinger, De Leon, Hernandez, Van Slyke, Mccarthy

Why Dodgers: They get Braun who they have wanted for a while, as well as a second baseman that they also need, and continue their win now mode

Why Brewers: They get the Dodgers top prospect who could also start the year as the Brewers starting 1st baseman after they plan to non-tender Chris Carter. They also get someone to replace Braun in Van Slyke, he can hit for power and can play both corner outfield spots along with 1st. They get Hernandez who can replace Villar at 3rd and have Villar move to 2nd. They also get De Leon who is a good young pitcher that can slot into their rotation. Mccarthy on the other hand is added in to even out the salaries. He could possibly factor into the Brewers plan for next season or just get DFAd right away.

If the Dodgers were smart they wouldn't do this but I think they won't be able to resist.

What do you guys think?

This deal works if you take out DeLeon and Bellinger, and add Alex Verdugo OF #3 prospect for LAD.

I get that but Bellinger is a great fit for them so they could ask for him and I guess they could take out Deleon but other than that I think this is what the Brewers should ask for.

It's a start, but needs work.
