red sox get verlander
det gets pomeranz, rafeal devers, michal kopech

boston adds an impact arm to rotation and can afford to trade some young talent

detroit sheds some money and adds a top 20 prospect plus another solid pitching prospect and a controllable arm who had some success last year

im not to sure on the value just an idea i had let me know what u guys think.

I have a hard time seeing the Red Sox giving up that much without the Tigers taking on cash.

Then again, we're talking about Dombrowski, so who knows.

As a Tigers fan, I wouldn't be opposed to this whatsoever. Includes an immediate replacement, allows the Tigers to move Castellanos to 1st once VMarts contract is up, and adds a long term piece to pair with Fulmer, Norris, and Manning in the future.

Hell no we are not trading any of those guys for Verlander unless it is Pomerantz, what makes you think we are going to trade Devers? I hate to say it but Padroia won't be around forever and he too will soon retire in 5 years or so so the Sox would be smart to move Moncada to second and Deverse at third. And why would the sox trade Benitendi for Verlander? Benittendi is worth more than Verlander right now, and Groome and Kopch are untochable, Kopech is throwing gass and we just drafted Groome no way we trade him. The Red Sox would be smart to stay away from big name starters and role with Price, Porcello, Rodregez, Pomerantz and Wright and they still have Bucholtz Henry Owens and Brian Johnson and others to fill out the rotation, they should be fine. Just sign Beltran to a 1 or 2 year deal and maybe one reliever and they should be good. Trust me why waste your future when 1 you don't need to and 2 on just 2 years of a player. I would much rather have all of those guys than Verlander and In a few years you will agree.
