Maybe this trade that sends Dozier to the Dodgers falls through.

White Sox Get:
Cody Bellinger 1B/ OF
Jose De Leon SP
Alex Verdugo OF
Gavin Lux SS
Johan Meises OF

Dodgers Get:
Jose Quintana SP
Todd Frazier 3B

J. Turner can shift over to 2B - LAD gets pop and great D at Third along with bonafide #2 behind Kershaw.

Wrong.

Frazier is not great defensively. Turner would be even worse at second base. Dodgers will not deal Bellnger, as he is the heir apparent to A Gon.

Not enough!
Jose quintan would probably net bellinger, de leon and verdugo alone and with frazier a lot more.

Not bad. If i'm the Dodgers i would say no just because of the potential top talent they are giving up but to land Q that is the type of talent they would have to deal. I think Lux was a steal for the dodgers in the draft and mieses is coming off a monster year in A ball. A lot of upside going to chicago and would be nice for them.

Yeah Frazier is about average defensively a team 3rd. I would say his locker room presence is his 2nd highest asset other than his bat.

The deal is fair in value but I don't think LA does it (even though Q would be perfect for their rotation/ money situation) and I think rick is waiting for Frazier to adjust to A. L. pitching this year to get more for him come July.

Hey Red Sox Guy, everybody said Red Sox wouldn't deal Moncada, but here we are. LAD wants to win, and badly. If you think they wouldn't trade Bellinger in a trade for Q and Frazier you're an absolute moron.

Hey Chi Sox. First, any player can be dealt. Yoan Moncada. Chris Sale. Mike Trout. Anyone. It just takes the right deal.

Yes, LA would deal Bellinger, but he is regarded as perhaps the top 1B prospect in the minors right now. It would take a huge deal to get him. The Dodgers value their prospects, as they've shown. They also have loads of cash, so they can spend on free agents, something we will see soon when guys such as Bryce Harper and Manny Machado become free agents.

I have not heard anything about the Dodgers making a pitch for Quintana. Nothing. Have you?

Adrian Gonzalez makes over $22 mil per year, and is signed for 2017 and 18. By then, LA will know if Bellinger is going to be able to take over. Unless a team really makes their skirt fly with an offer, the Dodgers will keep Bellinger.

Quintana is good, but LA doesn't really need a SP. Kershaw is a clear No. 1, they just brought back Rich Hill, and Maeda, Urias, Kazmir, McCarthy, and Ryu provide quality and depth to fill out the rotation.

And, LA doesn't need Frazier. They just re-signed Justin Turner to play third base. They are still kicking the tires on Brian Dozier to play 2B. If they don't get Dozier, they will bring in someone else such as Ian Kinsler, or even give Micah Johnson a shot. Either way, an infield with both Frazier and Turner is not going to happen. Plus, Frazier is a free agent after this year.

So, no, LA will not be dealing Bellinger to the White Sox. They don't need Quintana. They don't need Frazier.

Take a chill pill. Your team may contend about 2020.

Bellinger will be fluff piece to Minnesota for Dozier. He's a great player, but the Dodgers won't add great players via trade without including him.

Woah Red Sox Guy,

That last line was a little too personal for me!

My point is that Bellinger helps them zero this season. They are in a window now where they are built to win. Kershaw is the games best, Hill is 37, Maeda is OK, Urias is too young to really rely on, Kazmir, McCarthy and Ryu throw 20 pitches and get hurt.

I also forgot that the "experts" have to raise the idea before we are allowed to post it on this site. This is 100% hypotheticals.

You also just said rather than get someone like Todd Frazier as a throw in to a Q trade, They could just "give MICAH JOHNSON a shot. " I can play second base better than Micah Johnson.

The Red Sox didn't "need" Sale. Cleveland didn't "need" EE. Maybe the White Sox would even take back some of B. McCarthy's contract as well. If the Dodgers want to watch the Cubs win the NL for the next 5 years, they can tell themselves they don't "need" Quintana.

And hey buddy, you might want to try one of those chill pills, you guys lasted about 5 days more than we did in 2016.
