Rangers-Nats trade:

Nats get: Jeffers

Rangers get: Taylor, low level prospect

This gives the Nats the closer they need and it gives the Rangers the outfield help they need along with a lower level prospect.

What do you guys think?

Like I rated it, it is believable but I'm not sure how much the trade is needed by the rangers. The Rangers outfield is pretty decent and they don't want to give away a very closer. The Rangers, like the Nationals, are in win-now mode.

Never really thought of him as a target for Nats but I do like that as a fit. However it will cost more to acquire him as he is good and under control for a few seasons.

I like him or Doolittle for them, I thought they might try to get Rodney before he got signed but I feel like Jeffers and Doolittle would be good fits a an ok price.

Michael Taylor is terrible why would the Rangers do this.

Michael Taylor still has potential; alas, he is similar in skill set to DeShields, so there is no need for the Rangers to acquire him.

He isn't awful but I didn't know what Jeffers value was so I put him in, he is a young outfielder who I thought you guys could use. Who do you guys think you could get for Jeffers from the Nats?

"I didn't know what [Jeffress'] value was"

Perhaps read and then post?
