Long shot deal for dodgers second base opening

Los Angeles: Jurickson Profar and Eric Jenkins

Why would the Dodgers trade De Leon for Profar and Jenkins. Had Profar not been injured for 2 seasons and had more games in the majors to his name, maybe he could net a top prospect, but not now.

Profar has very little value now, nowhere near enough to be part of a deal for a player like De Leon unless he is a third or fourth player added as a filler
