Yankees-White Sox trade:

Yankees get: Todd Fraizer

White Sox get: Dillon Tate, Rob Refsnider and Mason Williams.

The Yankees need a boost at 3rd base even more than the Red Sox but that is just because they are atop the division. I think the Yankees should have never traded away Solarte because he would be great at the hot corner for them now. and even though they are in win now mode I think this offseason they will move on from guys like Ellsburry and Gardner and Holliday(can't remember if he signed a 1 or 2 year deal) as well as guys like Clippard and Sabathia and Headly and Layne. Even though they are doing ok for the most part they are either old or getting old and have big contracts so you might look to trade them to a contender who needs that one missing piece to complete the puzzle. They have guys like Tyler Austin who will be coming back from injury who will take Carters role and they have plenty of young OFs and INFs and pitching and you can always find RPs in FA. I know this is a lot but I think it would be smart for the Yankees to look into this. And by the way this is all coming from a Red Sox fan so I did my best trying to judge people's value in this trade so it might be a little lopsided but I tried my best

I actually love the match of the Todd-Father and Yankees but I really don't think the Sox get that much back. If Hahn got Tate straight up I would be satisfied.
