The Rangers get a pretty nice haul for a rental in Darvish.

The Yankees get the front line starter they need who would likely get along great with Tanaka and could help recruit Shohei Otani in the offseason to create a Japanese Big 3 in the rotation.

You just contradicted yourself, you acknowledge that Darvish is a rental, then you don't mention them resigning him in the offseason, which they won't. Then you say he and Tanaka will help recruit Otani to the Yankees and have a Japanese Big 3 in the rotation. How? Darvish is free agent.

BATMAN! that was assuming they resign him. However you still have to consider him a rental at the deadline because once free Agency hits you just never know.

However, do you think the trade is fair?

You are correct i was nitpicking. (I am sure thestatbook will have field day with that) . but when you don't say something and try to say it was under the assumption they do this or that it needs to be said. Otherwise you look foolish. As for telling you why your trades aren't good, I've done that all last year. you don't listen and continue to post the same thing weekly with very minor tweaks doing nothing to improve.
