I kinda wanna look at some off-season trades so and I know some may seem unlikely.

Braves trade: Luiz Gohara, Joey Wentz, Austin Riley
Marlins trade: Dan Straily

O's trade: Britton
Dodgers trade: Yadier Alvarez, Yusniel Diaz, Gavin Lux

Padres trade: Brad Hand
Astros trade: JB Bukauskas, David Paulino, Jorge Alcala

O's trade: Manny Machado
Braves trade: Ozzie Albies, Mike Soroka, Ian Anderson, Travis Demeritte, Touki Toussaint

Explanations
First trade Marlins are likely going to trade Straily and Braves are looking for controllable starters I also feel the Braves will make the jump the contender status next year

Second trade: I believe O's will realize they can't compete and sell their 2 biggest pieces I believe the Astros will want to keep their top prospects and will settle, Dodgers get probably the best righty lefty duo in the majors.

Third trade: Like I said I believe the Astros will settle and the Padres will have to too, they still get a top 100 prospect along with 2 interesting arms.

Last trade: to sum up what I've said O's rebuild Braves contend Braves I think will have a great chance to bring machado back

Straily trade: not anywhere close to enough. Straily still has 3-4 years of control as a SP and is very good. It'll take a lot more to bring him to any team.

Britton trade: too much from the Dodgers' perspective. They won't trade their top farm guys for a luxury, which Britton is, thanks to Jansen.

Hand trade: not enough. Padres want to be blown away for him. This won't do it.

Machado: too much. Machado's value has tanked, while he'll still pull a strong trade, it won't be this much.

Machado is a top 10 player.

Right now? Not even close.
Next year? Perhaps.

But you don't buy stock at tomorrow's price. You buy it on today's. If Machado is traded, it'll be when he picks it up again.
