Phillies get: Gerrit Cole

Pirates get: Sixto Sanchez RHP (#46 MLB), Jorge Alfaro C (#61 MLB)

The Phillies may go after Arrieta/Darvish in free agency, but for a young up-and-coming team, it makes more sense to me to go after a younger option on the trade market like Cole, who shouldn't come with the price tag of Archer.

Right. So you expect the Phils to toss their 2018 starting catcher and their best pitching prospect for a guy with two bad years under his belt? Idiotic trade.
