That would be the price for Machado. The way this trade is structured, for the Orioles to give up both Machado and Jones, they'd need to get some serious pieces back. The big issue I have in this one is why the White Sox are getting so much in return. Jones AND 4 others in return for Kopech and Fulmer seems a bit lopsided to me.

The point is the Yankees are giving up 2 regulars, 7 prospects, half of which are going to the White Sox. Doesn't make sense to me. I think taking out a few Yankee prospects and adding some White Sox prospects will make more sense.

So the White Sox give up Kopech and Fulmer and get a package back headlined by Adam Jones? Heck no. Machado also won't command that much and the Orioles won't deal him to the Yankees. The White Sox won't include Kopech in a deal for Machado, so they won't even think about it for ADAM JONES.
