Recent article indicated that the Indians and the Brewers may be talking a trade that will send Salazar and Kipnis to Milwaukee. The only name mentioned returning to the Tribe was OF Domingo Santana a right handed power hitting prospect. Wonder what other players may be involved.

Domingo Santana may be a name that is mentioned, however, he may not be the kind of target the Indians covet. I. O. W., As an OF'er, Santana makes a good DH. Names like Phillips, Hader, and others may be considered. Santana may end up in any deal between the two teams, but he's clearly not the kind of defender the Indians seek.

Agree and believe they [Tribe] more interested in Santana's right handed bat. That being said if they are parting with Salazar and possibly Kipnis there had better be a decent return.

I'd be interested to see what kind of a deal the Mets could put together for that kind of return. Kipnis obviously fills a need for them, and Salazar would give them either more depth in the rotation, or comfort to be able to move a pitcher or two to fill another hole in the infield.

I'd be interested to see what the Mets would be able to cobble together to make a deal here. Kipnis would be an obvious fit, but the addition of Salazar would either give them some solid rotational depth. probably the route they'd want to go considering the injury history of most rotation members. If not, they would then have an area of depth to trade from. The Cubs might be a good trade partner since they have some infield depth. Or they might try to fleece the Marlins for Realmuto like everyone else has.
