Giants dump huge salary lose good prospect in Adon, but do add Castillo to organization along with Walls


Rays add a veteran outfielder to the mix for the rest of year and a young prospect with higher ceiling to fill Castillos void and to create more opportunity to make 25-man roster
Pence brings leadership experience and defense to rays right now, could hit just a little more but that's okay

Giants will have to dump a better prospect than Melvin Adon to get rid of Pence's salary.

LOL! Funny trade. Rays are trying to cut payroll not add to it. No need for Pence since we have Gomez as the old veteran with the low BA. Also the Rays who are depending on their bullpen a lot, will not give away a controllable arm for prospects.
