here we go again. while your trade making over the years has slightly improved, these are highly unrealistic. I don't see Cashman doing these as I don't think he would trade 5 players for 2 rentals. Plus Machado said he isn't moving from SS for anyone. Mets asking price is too high for Cashman's liking.

Are you really a Yankee fan? Because you wrapped the future in a very neat box and bow and gifted it to the Mets and Orioles.

Not saying these are fair (the Machado trade is way to much, the deGrom trade seems awfully light), but I can't see Cashman mortgaging the future, especially at the cost of aiding a division opponent and a cross-town rival.

I think I made the team better now and don’t think I gave away their future. They would still have Sanchez, Bird, Torres, Machado, Didi, Frazier, Hicks, Judge, Stanton, Austin, Torreyes, deGrom, Severino, Tanaka, Gray, Sheffield, Adams, Tate, Schmidt, and Sauer all under the age of 30 going into next season. Some are MLB players, some are prospects with high upside but they would still look to have a pretty bright future to me.

The Yankees would still have a lot of young players to build off of. But it doesn't serve their best interest long-term to help the Orioles and Mets by bailing them out with premium young talent.
