Brad Hand and Francisco Lindor will both be in the last full year of control. Lindor for his ARB III is projected above $ 25 MM. Brad Hand has a club option for $ 10 MM ($ 1 MM buy out) . This addition to the yankee payroll. $ 35 MM, would warrant good, not elite talent. The guys chosen. could vary. Deivi Garcia is a little guy who doesn't fit with the kind of hurler the indians typically covet, so he could be replaced. The indians expressed their interest in Clint Frazier by trading him, so he could be replaced. Estevan Florial is an interesting prospect that ran face first into the wall when facing advanced minor league pitching. The Indians have several guys just like him. they don't need more. So. three of the six guys may not work for the Indians.

The other guys in this deal would be serviceable for the Tribe. So, we'd start with Volpe, Voit and Loaisiga. Add a pair of "better" prospects in Kevin Alcantara and Antonio Gomez, while "throwing in" and Miguel Andujar and call it a done deal.

and make no mistake. the Yankees are not the only game in town when it comes to receiving Frankie Lindor, even for a single season in return.

"Serviceable Players" for one if not the best shortstop in the majors? . Once again spankee fans think everyone bends over for the spankee needs. If both are traded it will take MORE and quality major league ready players and TOP prospects or they will never make the deal.
