Brewers trade Yelich, Hader

Padres trade Myers, Morejon, Baez, Weathers, Ona, Marcano, Feole, Barley.

So, let's get this straight:

The Padres get Christian Yelich AND Josh Hader, and the Padres get to unload Wil Myers' contract, and give up a bunch of high variance prospects who don't have a bunch of value anymore, as well?

Why, exactly, would the Brewers even think about this offer?

A trade of this magnitude would require a package with either:

MacKenzie Gore and a few 45 FV prospects

OR

CJ Abrams + Luis Campusano AND a few 45 FV prospects.

Milwaukee has zero reason to dump Yelich for lesser assets.

Why do I feel I hear the same song and dance about needing to include gore, abrams, or campusano every single time and they haven’t been included to get guys like snell or darvish?

Umm, they gave up Luis Patino, a consensus top 20 prospect to get Blake Snell. So, yes, they did have to give up someeone great to land Blake Snell.

If it took a 60 FV prospect (Patino), a 50 FV prospect (Hunt) and a 45 FV prospect (Wilcox) AND a controllable MLB catcher to land Blake Snell, what do you think it would take to get Christian Yelich AND Josh Hader?

Suggesting a package of Abrams (60 FV), Campusano (55 FV) and a couple of 45 FV guys isn't trat ridiculous.

In fact, such a trade package is probably too light.
