The Rays could trade Price within the next few weeks.

With just over five weeks left before the trade deadline, it appears that the chances of the Rays dealing left-hander David Price are increasing rapidly. According to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times, "it has become increasingly obvious that the Rays likely-- if not absolutely, positively-- are going to trade Price over the next 5 1/2 weeks until the July 31 deadline".

that most people within baseball believe that the Dodgers are the favorite to land Price, but also lists the Cardinals, Giants, Braves, Marlins, Angels, Athletics and Indians as possible destinations. The Rays would prefer to send Price to a National League team and would probably not trade him to an AL East rival.

Marlins? No. Too cheap.
Yankees? No. Same division; same with Jays, O's and Sox.
Cardinals? I cannot see them parting with the young talent the Rays want.
Angels? They don't have the young talent the Rays want.
Athletics? Dealing Straily and others for Price sounds like something Billy Beane would do, even if he flipped Price this winter or next summer.
Indians? Would the Tribe swap Danny Salazar?
Giants? Not sure San Fran has the players the Rays are seeking.
Braves? To me, makes the most sense, but would Atlanta pull the trigger? I don't think so.
That leaves the Dodgers, who need a shake-up, and have lots of young talent. I think LA gets it done.

Dodgers have young talent to offer, can add payroll, and need a jolt. Makes perfect sense.

Yea I don't think the Dodgers need another starter.
