Wow. As a Phillies fan, I would love this, but . seriously, the Dodgers would never do that. C'mon, man.

At first glance this is great for the Phils but I think the Dodgers aren't getting enough in return. Plus the Cubs are only giving up one player, Edwards, for Hamels? The Cubs need to add something going to LA.

Cubs have many young middle infielders, they are going to have to trade one or two of them. They would all be blocked.

I don't see the point in this being a 3 team trade. It should and could between the Cubs and Phillies.
