You realize deGrom is one of the top arms in the MLB and is controlled for another 4 years right? The Mets wouldn't trade him. Especially for an unproven prospect and a guy that has yet to produce in the majors. Oh yea, and the Mets have enough outfielders coming up in Conforto and Nimmo. No room for Polanco.

I don't think the Mets will make any trades. I think they want to just build around their pitching.

Wheeler not a stud yet and I don't think anybody is trading for him now off of TJ

He's not a stud? 18-16 with a 3.50 ERA Through his age 23 and 24 seasons and 172 strikeouts I think through 180 innings, that's pretty good. I'd rather have him than matz or syndergaard who have yet shown they can pitch a full season in mlb. Yes he had tj but guess what so did Harvey and look at what he's doing

Not me I'll take Matz and Thors future over Wheeler
He still threw to many pitches
Once he masters his control it can be a different story

Thor will be great but matz got injured after what 3-4 starts? Idk if he can go a whole season without getting injured
