Diamondbacks get; Aroldis Chapman
Reds get : A.j. Pollock

Or

Dodgers get: Aroldis Chapman, Mike Leake.
Reds get: Puig.

Thoughts?

No way the Dodgers give up Puig for a rental of a reliever and a mid-tier starter.

Nor the D'Backs.

Chapman isn't a game-changer. Pollock and Puig are.

Puig's trade value is not as high as you think. There is a reason why the Dodgers are trying to trade a guy with a very friendly contract. They are interested in Mike Leake already and adding Chapman sweetens the deal. Dodgers are in win now mode and wouldn't have to trade any of there top prospects.

Arizona has interest in Chapman for what reason IDK. Reds are looking for young controllable players that are "mlb ready" players. In steps A.J. Pollack.

Reds get there bat and with the 3 pitchers Reds received from Royals, Reds are not in terrible shape for next year.

Do you follow baseball? Because Pollock was an all star. They don't get traded often unless a team is a seller.
D-Backs aren't sellers.

Yes, a 24-year-old who has averaged 5.1 WAR in his first 2 seasons and has an exceptionally friendly contract is not as valuable as we think.

Dude, Puig is one of the best young players in baseball. I hate LA, but you can't act like Puig is complete garbage.

Chapman is a game changer. Just make sure you get a look at him in the 9th

Closers are opportunistic pitchers. They pitch in games that are close. they had nothing to do with getting into the situation, they are not game changers.
