Trades I think will go down today

NYM) Jay Bruce (Cash)
CIN) Zach Wheeler

Buster Onley said "Bruce to the Mets is something to keep an eye on in the next 20 hours" last night. The Mets have to make a move after the debacle that happened with Gomez. Cincy offered Bruce for Wheeler straight up, but I don think the Mets accept that. They will request another player or cash. This trade should happen today.


HOU) Tyson Ross and Craig Kimbrel
SD) Mark Appel, Vincent Valasquez, Colin Moran and Tony Kemp

Reports are "something big" is going to happen between HOU and SD. My guess is it's more than just Kimbrel or Ross; I think its both. HOU has picked up Kazmir and Gomez and seem to be going for it. Ross is controlled for a few years and Kimbrel is the best closer in the game. Giving up Appel might be tough, but if they're going for it, I can't count it out.


BAL) Gerardo Parra
MIL) Zach Davies and Trey Mancini

The Orioles have been linked to Parra for a few days. They're in need of an outfielder and Parra would be a good one to get. He can leadoff and let Machado slide to the 2 hole.


SD) Francelis Montas, Micker Adolfo and Chris Beck
CHW) Justin Upton

The White Sox recently became "buyers" and are searching for a bat. Upton will be moved and the White Sox should be all over it if they can get him. He would give them the middle of the order hitter to pair with Abreu.


ARI) Aroldis Chapman
CIN) Aaron Blair, Brandon Drury and Cory Reed

Arizona received a huge TV contract in the offseason. They have shown they're going to spend and compete. They have a good group of position players and some young arms in their system. Chapman would solidify the bullpen and set them up for a run next season. I believe the D-Backs will be major players in the offseason.


TOR) Yovanni Gallardo
TEX) Anthony Alford and Conner Greene

The Blue Jays are said to be still looking for a few more pieces. Gallardo is having a very good season and could easily become the #2 behind Price. Texas replaces some of the damage from the Hamels trade and picks up players for an upcoming FA.
