ANGELS

I Want to make this as clear as possible before you read the trade, This is the Max the Angels should off for Frazier, if they say no, they move on with their lives. Now that I have said that, heres the trade.

ANGELS GET
Todd Frazier

REDS GET
Nick Tropeano
Hector Santiago
Cam Bedrosian
Kaleb Cowart
Victor Alcantara

Reds are looking for MLB ready guys and they would get 4 MLB Ready guys in this.

LINEUP
(SS) Andrelton Simmons
(RF) Kole Calhoun
(CF) Mike Trout
(1B) Albert Pujols
(3B) Todd Frazier
(LF) Do Be Determined
(DH) CJ Cron
(C ) Carlos Perez
(2B) Johnny Giovatella

IF THE REDS SAY NO. The Angels then move on to the Twins for Plouffe

ANGELS GET
Trevor Plouffe
Stephen Gonsalvez

TWINS GET
Cam Bedrosian
Nick Tropeano
Nathaneal Delgado

Twins have had interest in Bedrosian and the Angels have interest with Plouffe. The Reason I added Gonsalvez in there is because I grew up with him when I was young, would absolutely love to see him wearing an Angels uni one day.

ANGELS LINEUP
(SS) Andrelton Simmons
(RF) Kole Calhoun
(CF) Mike Trout
(1B) Albert Pujols
(LF) To Be Determined
(3B) Trevor Plouffe
(DH) CJ Cron
(C ) Carlos Perez
(2B) Johnny Giovatella

To Be Determined in left can be a number off players out there, whether it be Cespedes, Heyward, Fowler, Cowgill, etc. Its a huge question mark at the moment.

If that's the best the Angels can do for Frazier, they'd be better off not making an offer at all.

That looks like a few mid prospects to me.

As I said, they would probably say no, but hey there's no harm in offering. The Angels farm is weak, this is the best they could offer without giving up their main stay building blocks like Calhoun, Richards, Heaney, Trout, and Cron.

You tried this trade for Plouffe once. It was bad then. And now you want Minnesota to include one of their top 10 prospects for an average starting pitcher.

So you want the Twins to trade a productive starting 3B and a top 10 prospect for an average at best RP, an end of the rotation starter, and a guy who is not even ranked as one of the Angels top 30 prospects. Not going to happen. Ever.

Delgado is in the top 30.

Who the hell cares about organizational prospect ranks? Seriously. Too many folks who pay way too much attrntion to that crap.

I also love the cryptic "I know my trade stinks, but it never hurts to try" attempt.

I could try and sell a pile of dirt for $20 million. Or spare myself of the time. The offer was terrible and the Angels front office would never consider offering it.

This is not really good. The Angels farm system weak and they traded their best prospects for Simmonns. It was weak then. They don't have the pieces for anyone else major. The Reds would want better prospects and not 3 mediocre major leagues in between.

That will not get Frazier, period. To get him, I think a team will have to offer a young position player along with other pieces.
