McGee is an all-star caliber reliever. I'm just saying that the dodgers are looking to improve their bullpen and he had a 1.94 ERA in 2014 and in 2015 he struggled with injuries so he only had a 2.44 ERA. I agree that the Rays need to add. But you can't deny that McGee is a really strong 8th or 9th inning option.

All-star caliber relievers are not equal to all-star level catchers. At all.

McGee is good, but he's a reliever. and no one is giving up a really good catcher for a reliever. No one.

Grandal is NOT an All-Star catcher. With A. J. Ellis as their main battery option McGee would be a solid get for the Dodgers.

I would be surprised if Tampa does anymore business this off season. They could do a lot more to help their team and encourage their fan base.
