Who was better last year Devon Travis or Jonathan Schoop?

Close enough in wRC+, wOBA, and WAR to call it even.

Schoop certainly has the advantage in terms of staying healthy. I also think Schoop's skillset is more usable over a long span than Travis'.

Travis stayed healthy from when he recovered from his shoulder surgery to the ALCS. I think Schoop has more power while Travis coule have a better average and stick around longer.

A healthy Travis should be near a career .300 hitter. 20 homers with just average defence.

Schoop is a better defender with more power but not quite the average.

Schoop has the slight edge now.

I'm hoping Travis can stay healthy so we can see just how good he could be. I'm sensing he might just be one of those injury prone kids.

Schoop did much better than Travis even if Travis wasn't injured Schoop be a bit better than him plus Travis gets injured quite often.

BATMAN! You are making absolutely zero sense, so Travis is a flop, because he has played very well in a limited but extended period of time?

Jays have no real reason to do it, they already have 5 capable starters signed for next year.

Huskers, you are statistically wrong about Happ, he actually pitched better in the 2nd half of last year than the first (12-3 3.36 ERA, 1.20 WHIP in the first half vs 8-1 2.94 ERA, 1.12 WHIP.

Graveman was also part of the Donaldson trade BTW.
