The Mets aren't getting anything of value for Jay Bruce. The guy is beyond terrible.

Bruce will be 30 in April. He hit 33 HRs in 2016. He has averaged 26.7 homers over his nine-year career. He has a lifetime OPS of .785.
Most teams could use a LH-hitting guy with stats like that.
