Shelby Miller is on the trade block. I think the dbacks just want to get rid of him. I say the Jays make an offer and try to get a steal.

Buchholz would provide salary offset. Holt provides positional flexibility, which is something the Rays FO has always loved.
Basically, the package is Moncada + Kopech + a couple throw ins for Chris Archer, which is more than plenty.

yes I know who he is Jerk. Just seems like not a trade you would accept. Buckholtz at 13 mil a year when the cupboards are fully stocked with pitching. And holt are not the guys for the Rays.

Buchholz would be a rental. He would simply be there for a couple of months. And who knows, the Red Sox could simply take on the remainder of his salary. If the Rays don't want him, they can try him on a waiver trade later on.
This is the kind of trade that usually takes place when top players get moved, simply moving veterans to make for a new piece.

There are many reports that that the Jays are intrested in rhp Francis Martes on the Astros who is the #36 prospect in the mlb. What would it cost to get him? A few prospects, mlb players? Let me know what u think.

Probably a major league piece from Toronto, and someone who is not a rental.
It wouldn't make sense for Toronto to sell key pieces when they are in the middle of a playoff race. It also wouldn't make sense, as their depth is really weak, most of their prospects are low-level, and they are losing several pieces this winter.

So I've heard many rumours that the nats are interested in Bautista. Do u guys if I deal were to go down the nats would trade prospects or major league pieces. I know he has 10/ 5 but if he were to accept. Jays have doen great without him and also just got Upton. They have the depth to trade it and I believe they would rather sign ee and Saunders. This way they will get more than just a compensation pick.

I don't really think the Nats have a guy to give up because they want to win too.

Why would the Nationals want a guy who is a major defensive liability and plays a position that is not a need for them?
Bautista is very good, but he won't get traded to Washington. Whoever made that rumor didn't think it true.

Everyone knows the dbacks did not live up to the hype. Imo they should sell and go back to rebuild mode. So I posted on the talk section a couple days ago what do u guys think it would cost a team to get grenkie if they retained 50%. The jerk said a major piece or two so.

I think this would get it done. This move would give the Jays flexibility to move Sanchez to the pen which imo they shouldn't do. However I think this is the move that will help them contend for the World Series and go all in this year.
