I would really like Satanton playing in the Yankees with Judge, so how about
Yankees get Giancarlo Stanton
Marlins get Blake Rutherford, Jorge Matteo and Jacoby Ellsberg
Stanton plays left field, and with Frazier already in the. Shoes there is no need for Rutherford, they get Matteo who is crushing AA right now and Ellsberg to help with offsetting some money.

Stanton for Ellsbury is a good contract swap. The challenge is both have no-trade clauses. I can see Stanton wanting out of Miami, but can't see Ellsbury signing off on going to Miami when so much is up in the air with ownership.

To clarify, Stanton-Ellsbury would simply be the means to balance out contracts, the Yankees would also have to give up pieces for acquiring Stanton, who is by far better than Ellsbury.

I am sure the Marlins would demand Clint Frazier AND Gleyber Torres in a Stanton deal with the Yanks. If the Yanks really, really, really, want Stanton, I would think they would part with their top two prospects. Other players would be part of the deal too.

Minnow75, not sure how anyone can disagree with you.
Judge is amazing but his numbers are over 90 games. Wait till pitchers get a full year of film on him. Is he still going to be a great player and a consistent all star? I think so. But let's hold up on the mike trout comparisons.
Angels would likely want to rebuild the farm system if they trade Trout rather than get one player back and be in the same situation as they are now.

Yankees 1st basemans have been struggling all season. How about
Yankees: Wil Myers
Padres: Greg Bird, Jorge Mateo and Dustin Fowler
Yankees get power hitting first baseman which is under contract for years to come.
Pages get a hopefull big league first baseman in Bird and a top prospect in Mateo while claiming also another prospect with a high upside and low risk.

How about a trade between the Yankees and dodgers.
Yankees get : Yadier Alvarez
Dodgers get : Michael Pineda
Pineda is playing really good, and since he is a free agent a trade seems plausible. They get a prospect to help them in the future while giving up chances of winning this year.

With Pineda pitching well and Tanaka not, don't you think they should hold on to him? Plus they are in contention, teams in contention don't sell. Also They could probably get more than one prospect in return.

I really think it depends a lot on what they think of him internally tho. For fun, If management was confident his numbers are a fluke (Which I doubt) they probably try to sell him for a controlable elite arm. Teheran? Cole? Idk. i'm just throwing names. But i'd probably put his value in the pre 2017 Kyle Schwarber tier. Maybe even a notch above.
In reality tho I think I'm with batman on this one. They probably hold onto him. Dude is built like Lebron, makes contact and can actually run bases.

Obviously, we can all, even the poster, acknowledge the Yankees won't trade Judge, but it's certainly a fun thought experiment.
Judge could headline a trade for Trout right now, could he not?
Judge + Rutherford + Severino or something along those lines.
