This is my first post, so here it goes.
Pirates trade:
Josh Harrison(Pay half of his 2018 salary, 5m)
Yankees trade:
Clint Frazier
Brett Gardner
I'm not exactly sure how the value matches up here, but this makes sense for both teams to me. The Yankees get an infielder, and some salary relief to go after darvish. The pirates get Frazier, who could be a star, and all of this money would be off the books after this year, when they have money to spend anyway.

I realize that there are several obstacles here, mainly that the pirates don't want to deal Mccutchen, but if things go south in the next week, I think this makes sense for both teams, and the value is there for both sides.

That's too much for Machado, I think he could get Russell or happ, not both. And that is wayyyyyy too much for Donaldson, he doesn't have much value at the moment.

I would agree with you stat if it were noah, but since it's moah, and I've never heard of him, I'd take that deal.
