So let's say the trade deadline the Yankees aren't in contention who should they trade away. I think they should trade Tanaka away if they haven't extended him. Sabathia could be a possibility? Pineda could happen. Holiday could happen if he was doing alright before the deadline. They should definitely try trading Gardner and Headly. And they could trade away Castro or Gongorious. Who do you think they could trade away.

The Yankees aren't that stupid, no one is why would someone trade away 3 starters along with their entire infield except for 1st. Castro and Gregorious are still young and Penada fits into that group as well and I don't see them trading Holiday either he is there as a filler until other prospects are ready. The only people I see them trading is Sabathia Gardner and Headly and Elsburry but other than that I think they keep everyone giving them a better team when their rookies are ready.

It all depends on how much salary the Yankees are willing to take on of McCann's. They could take most of it and get a decent prospect out of the deal. Anything less than taking 75% of his salary, and New York won't get a whole lot.
Colon will get a 1/ 6 maybe 1/ 7.5 deal if he comes back.
Cespedes will sign for the most money, and it won't be close.

This could make sense if they trade Gardy and the braves pay some of kemp contract that would mean the dodgers padres and braves are all paying part of this bad contract.

I actually like this. Good lineup probaly do better than last year score more runs. And they can have Gattis catch on McCann off days and McCann can DH or play 1st what a great team.

I have a question why are the giants next to the best 3 closers in the market. No team has the money to buy 2. And there are many teams out there. I can see them maybe trading or signing for another ok bullpen piece.
