I know this a strange one:
Mets give: Zack Wheeler
Rangers give: Profar and LHR
eeehhh??
1.) I doubt either team would trade for an injured player.

An injured Zack Wheeler is far more valuable than an injured Jurickson Profar.
As a Mets fan, you should be ashamed.
3.) ^Why. The Mets are subtracting an injured stud from an area of surplus for an injured stud in an area of scarcity. Seems like a solid deal to me, as both Wheeler and Profar have a similar projected return on their injuries.

BoSox, and upon their return, the Mets will know what they are getting out of Wheeler. he'll be back to normal.
We haven't seen anything good from Profar when he was healthy in the majors. he's got serious question marks all around.
Wheeler is far superior to Profar. it's not even remotely close to debatable.
5.) I disagree. With Tommy John surgery, Wheeler's future is just as obfuscated as Profar's(not to mention the SSS for Profar's struggles). Barring concussions, a torn UCL to a pitcher may the most devastating injury in sports.

You do realize that there are tons of pitchers who have had Tommy John surgery who have come back and been just fine, right?
Besides, if it was a total crapshoot, the Mets would have gotten rid of Matt Harvey for something more "secure"

Trades:
Mets get Alexei Ramirez
White Sox get Gee and AA prospct
Mets get Cespedes
Rex Sox get Niese, Murphy
1.) Morse will probably get more, Soriano will get more, Bonifacio will get slightly more. The Rameriz trade I think the White Sox are looking for more and younger players. The Cespedes trade is bad. One I think the Red Sox would look for young talent such as prospect that are ready. Also what use would the Red Sox have for Murphy? They have Pedoria at second and Bogerats at SS.
2.) Why would New York need both Morse and Cespedes?

3-Way Trade
Mets get: Castro
Cubs get: Aaron Sanchez, Matz
Bue Jays get: Murphy, Rondon
Mets NEED a SS. Cubs need pitching prospects. Blue Jays need a 2nd and relief.
I think this is fair. Thoughts
1.) As the value is pretty good for all the teams. The cubs won't trade Castro. Theo and Jed would ask for so much more than he is worth and they wouldn't accept a trade until they get that. But not a bad proposal.
2.) I bet if you swapped Matz for Montero I bet they'd do it. Well. Maybe.

1.) If the cubs trade Castro to the mets (which I don't think they will even consider moving him), synderguard will have to highlight the package
2.) Mets would have to include Zach Wheeler or Syndergaard for Castro.
3.) Castro is a bum, but he is far better than what the Mets have, and this is not enough.
4.) Castro is far from a bum.
5.) ^to the guy who said Castro is a bum, you obviously don't watch or even pay attention to baseball because you have no idea of how great of a season he's having right now
6.) Oh, I see him. He is a younger HanRam, but not quite as good. The type of guy with loads of talent, but that kills your team. Really, it's fitting that he is on the Cubs.
