Yea you make crazysull look sane. I've told you before draft picks other than the competitive balance picks cannot be traded. This trade is pretty awful and makes little sense.

How many times can I press unbelievable. You can't trade picks in baseball. Bradley Jr and Bucholz will not even get Upton himself. This is one of the worst posts I've seen in a while.

And even if you could trade draft picks. this is horrendous.
1st- Upton can't be traded, as he'll be a free agent. Boston can just sign him.
2nd- No way the Padres trade Shields AND Kimbrel and get an injury-prone, overrated pitcher (Buchholz) and an OF prospect who we have no clue what he's able to do over an entire season.
But since you don't know that draft picks can't be traded, I don't expect you to know this other stuff.

This couldn't be worse.
1. You can't trade draft picks unless it is a Comp Pick.
2. Dealing for Upton at this point makes no sense because the Red Sox aren't contending, and he is a free agent at the end of year, and the trade would make it so the BoSox can't even give him a qualifying offer.
3. Kimbrel alone is worth much more than the two guys in the deal, and adding in Shields (even though he has a big contract he is still valuable) would require more prospect talent going back to SD.
All in all a horrible and pointless trade.

Dear Redsox3344, you clearly do not follow baseball at all. The only draft picks that can be traded are the competitive picks. Also I assume this is an offseason trade. Which Justin Upton is a free agent and cannot be traded.
