Jays should make more big move this year and bid high for nick markakis.

1.) I'm not sure about all the love for Ogando, who is described around Dallas as lazy.
Just my opinion, but the Jays would probably be better off going after someone more established.
2.) A: Why is Liriano getting 16 mil a year?
B: Why is Gregerson getting 9 a year?

1.) Over payments for Ogando and Jaso. To much for Melky, and not enough for Joba.
2.) Overpay for Ogando.
3.) Give up a ggod young pitchng prospect for a backup catcher they don't need
4.) I guess these are believable, but I cannot see these deals making Toronto much better.

my first post on this site. i've been a baseball fan for the last 4-5 years but i'm more of a hockey guy. I do love the jays and know many players in the league and stats. one reason I joined this site is i'm not great valuewise in baseball trades ( much different from hockey ) so i'm hoping you guys can help me with that with your posts and some feedback on my posts
so instead of going after hamels or lester, some of the big names out there I say the jays go for two solid pitchers from oakland, one who jays were keen on acquiring last year in samardzija and another good lefty in scott kazmir who are both free agents next offseason
the trade:
jays get samardzija,kazmir,jaso
a's get dickey/buehrle ,norris, nolin,
if dickey goes we send thole with him
if buehrle goes we send 7million dollars with him
then we resign melky
then ship navarro to the dodgers for darwin barney
