Things have changed in the market but I cans see a similar scenario where Mets:
1. Sign Bregman (GG 3b)
2. Sign Goldschmidt to a 1 year deal or Carlos Santana (switch hitting GG 1b)
Bregman 3b
Vinetos DH / 1b
Santana 1b / DH
2b - competition with Mauricio and Luisangel
Santana can tutor Vientos at IB while splitting DH / 1b duties.
worst case scenario is if Vinetos doesn't take to 1b you have a GG 1b for 2025 and Vinetos can be the team everyday DH.
