Well, yelich would likely be around much longer than ellsbury and Gardner. Not saying I like the trade, just saying yelich could be useful to them beyond this season.

Yanks have no need for Yelich. Still have Frazier, Fowler and Rutherford. Need a 3B-but may decide to promote Torres or Wade. One guy I would LOVE for them to get is reliever Hand from SD. So, a trade for a 3B or solid lefty reliever-that's all right now.

Yankees get: Howie Kendrick
Angels get: Jose Ramirez & Austin Romine
1.) 1. I don't think the Angels will actually trade Kendrick.
2. That isn't a good package for him.
3. The Yankees need to get younger, Kendrick, while good, would just be another aging vetran.
4. Rob Refsynder will be their second baseman next year.
