Really no reason to keep Soler around. If they truly believed he was the answer in the outfield for the future, they would have never signed heyward. But they did sign him, because they knew Soler stunk. Or else they would have went after Cueto, Samardzija or price more extensively. And with all these future options in the outfield (Almora, McKinney, Heyward, Bryant, Contreras, and at times even Baez), Soler is the worst option.

Royals gets: Danny Valencia, Rich Hill
Oakland gets: Bubba Starling, Chester cutherbert, foster griffin
Royals get: Carlos Beltran, Andrew Miller
Yankees get: Raul Mondesi, Jarrod Dyson, Kyle Zimmer, Hunter Dozier
The royals need help if they plan to win again. Rich Hill will help the stuggaling rotation, Valencia and Beltran solidify their line up and miller allows them to have 7th 8th 9th lights out. They can either let davis close or move him back to 8th. These trades bring another championship to Kansas city.

Not enough? Until this season Valencia was terrible and hill was a journeyman who was terrible. To think they can get anything for these two guys is a start. Maybe one more prospect or 2 but we are close.

Your definition of terrible must be a hell of a lot different than mine. Because what I see is someone who has been given regular at bats for the first time in his career and has turned himself into one of the best hitters in the league. As for hill, he may be just an old rental, but he's averaging over a strikeout per inning, a 2.68 FIP ( You probably don't know what that is), and already a 2.1 WAR. Trust me, the athletics would get a much better offer from a team with more appealing prospects.

This is a clear example of someone who doesn't follow baseball well. Fulmer was the centerpiece of the Cespedes trade. Farmer was drafted by the Tigers and to no surprise like most Tiger prospects stinks.

Royals gain a top 15 bat in the mlb and one of the best left handed relivers in the game. Reyes is a wild card, somone out of infante, reyes, escobar or maybe Mondesi (eventually) can shift to 3rd base.
For the Rockies they cleat cap space and get younger all over the diamond. This looks great for all.

The Royals are not a blockbuster kind of team. They have made more subtle moves the last couple of years, picking up mostly role players, both via trade and free agency. A deal of this magnitude, considering CarGo is involved, is more a blockbuster. KC will not take on that much in salary, and their farm system is not as stocked as it once was, after last year's deadline additions.
KC would be much more likely to add, in separate deals, guys such as Trevor Plouffe, Kelly Johnson, Jeremy Hellickson, or Nick Markakis.

White Sox get: Jurkson Profar, Joey Gallo, Shawn Tallison, Dillion Tate, Luis Ortiz
This is the Rangers top prospect, former top prospect who has proven he mlb ready for a full time spot, former closer who can step right in St 8th or 9th inming, top 2 pitching prospects. White seox get to shed salary big time here and rebuild with at least 4 potential mlb peices for next year.

Anyone who thinks cubs will trade castro is obviously not paying attention. He has a very friendly contract and fans love him. Javier baez could go but he is hurt. Cubs are going to make a big splash. They will add a starter and bull pen help. Farm system is loaded they can afford to give somthing up.

Why would Boston trade 2 young conto able players Betts aND bogart for a pitcher who currently can't stay healthy and only has 1 season of priduction. Betts may be the best hitter in baseball right now and his speed/ defence are A+. Bad trade for Boston.

Miller is worth a lot but I think yankees must include Beltran in all of these deals.
