That Kris Bryant trade is not very good. Cubs will want more. And Bloom said he won't add top prospects to move David Price. He certainly wouldn't do so if he also has to take on Dexter Fowler's contract.

Houston has been extremely reluctant to trade Tucker. Is Clevinger the type of pitcher than changes this? Maybe, but they are probably also losing Springer next offseason, so they might trust their in-house options along with a couple of low risk, short term signings/ trades given their prior successful reclamations.
