Brewers catcher Jonathon Lucroy has recently said he wants to play for a contender
Well here's your problem jonathon

-the season hasn't even gotten close to starting
-pitchers and CATCHERS report in a month to start getting ready for 2016
-There are no for sure contenders yet
(the closest is SF because they're SF)
-and as far as I know you were playing hurt last year so your stock has gone down
-so the only 3 teams have any shot at getting him
they are
Texas, LAA, and MIL

texas trades: Chirinos, Profar, Ryan Rua, and 1 of the top 8 team prospect
for
Lucroy and Collin Walsh (middle infield prospect)

After seeing how little the Reds got back for Todd Frazier, and how much the Diamondbacks gave up for Shelby Miller, I don't think any of us know what MLB GMs are willing to trade for a player.

My opinion is that this is a little too much for Lucroy, but it just depends on how badly Texas wants him.

Walsh was a Rule 5 pick, so the Rangers would have to keep him on the 25-man roster or lose him. I doubt he's added in.

Plus, the Brewers will get a better return for Lucroy. Much better.

The Brewers would want 2-3 top eight prospects.

"There are no for sure contenders", there are a lot of teams that could contend for at least a playoff spot unlike the Brewers. Here's a list: Red Sox, Blue Jays, maybe even the Yankees, Royals, the Tigers look to be in a better position, and so do the White Sox, pretty much everyone in the A. L. West except for Oakland. Nationals, Mets, Cubs, Cardinals, and Pirates. It'll be close in the N. L. West with Arizona, L. A., and San Fransisco. That's 18 teams out of 30.

Walker
Thank you for understanding mHayesg
I thought I was scared that I was the only one

and. I think that the LAA is out and that's why they want Lucroy, I also think that Mets are going to get 2nd in the division because they don't have any big bats in the lineup
mainly because they lost Murphy and Cespedes (maybe they get Cespedes back)
