Red Sox get: Sale.

That is probably enough to get Sale, but I think the price is too high for the Red Sox to risk loosing all that young talent.

Well if you look at it you lose JBJ you can put either Mookie and Benintendi in center and you still have Swihart to play left. Yes losing Moncada would suck but then there is Devers a couple years away. Trey Ball and Kopech would be replaced with Sale and Groome. Bubon is blocked by Pedroia. Holt would suck to lose but to bring in someone like Sale to sure up the rotation would help a lo.

Seems about right. I wonder if the ChiSox would rather go for a package with less guys but with higher upside.

I could see them doing this if the Red Sox could avoid giving up Kopech and JBJ and Holt without giving up Benitendi. I know that is close to impossible but I could think it would work.

To get Sale, you got to give up talent. I'd hate to lose Moncada, but Sale might be worth it.
