TB trades SP Drew Smyly

SEA trades SP Louis Gohara, OF Guillermo Heredia, RP Dan Altavilla

Mariners have have been linked to Smyly the past few weeks and this move gives them the middle of the rotation arm they desire. Rays get a solid young left handed starter, a right handed forth outfield (something they are looking to add), and a young bullpen arm.

Sign OF Michael Saunders for 2 years 16 million

Sign Sergio Romo for 1 year 5 million

With these moves the Rays fill all of their holes in adding a couple of bullpen arms, a DH/ OF type and a right handed outfielder capable of backing up centerfield.
