my first post on this site. i've been a baseball fan for the last 4-5 years but i'm more of a hockey guy. I do love the jays and know many players in the league and stats. one reason I joined this site is i'm not great valuewise in baseball trades ( much different from hockey ) so i'm hoping you guys can help me with that with your posts and some feedback on my posts

so instead of going after hamels or lester, some of the big names out there I say the jays go for two solid pitchers from oakland, one who jays were keen on acquiring last year in samardzija and another good lefty in scott kazmir who are both free agents next offseason

the trade:

jays get samardzija,kazmir,jaso

a's get dickey/buehrle ,norris, nolin,

if dickey goes we send thole with him
if buehrle goes we send 7million dollars with him

then we resign melky

then ship navarro to the dodgers for darwin barney

1.reyes ss
2. cabrera lf
3. joey rf
4. EE 1b
5. smoak DH
6. martin c
7. lawrie 3b
8. pompey cf
9. barney 2b

starting rotation:

1.kazmir
2.samrdzija
3. stroman
4. buehrle/dickey
5.hutchinson

bullpen:

cecil
loup
happ
sanchez
estrada
delabar
redmond
rasmussen

closer:?

so there would appreciate feedback or a what it would take to get those guys from oakland

dont be too harsh ;)

Okay, without being too harsh, this is a load of crap. You're hoping to get Kazmir or Samardjiza for that offer? Not in a million years.

Alright thanks

Nolin and Norris aren't going anywhere especially for an old man who has a couple of years left and a backup catcher
