Nationals sign Max Scherzer to a 7 year-$150 million

Nationals: Jordan Zimmerman
Diamondbacks: Didi Greggorius, Jake Lamb
- Greggorius moves to 2nd
- Sign Desmond to 9 year contract worth a lot of money
- Sign Fister to a 5 year contract

1. Scherzer already turned down 144 from the Tigers at the beginning of last season. So he will get close 200 mil.
2. Gregorious isn't need by the Nationals, they have pieces in place already.
3. 9 years for Desmond is unlikely. I don't even think he signs an extension. He may see that the Yankees have an opening and sign with them next offseason.
4. I could see Fister getting a 5 year deal, but I see him going to free agency next year.

I don't think Scherzer would go to Nationals because the NL is too tough and in AL he doesn't have to bat
