Trade 1: Freese to SF for Okert/Law

Trade 2: Shoemaker to COL for Arenado

Losing Shoe would be tough but this finally gets the Angels a long-term 3B solution who is only 23 and is an Orange County product.

The Angels can't afford Scherzer's contract.

The Angels don't have much money to work with. especially with Hamilton, Wilson, and Pujols. they certainly don't have the cash to sign Scherzer.

Also, I'm 95% certain Scherzer will make more than $25M AAV. Someone will give it to him.
